Storage Auctions- Make, Save, Stretch a Buck #3

We are back with another video in the series how to make a buck, stretch a buck, save a buck. We dove into the world of storage autions and it was actually a lot of fun! Some hard work, but not the worst way to make some extra money on a day off. It’s a fun project the whole family can be involved in and you get to help others in the community in a different way as well.

For $25 we have enough inventory for the ebay store for a long time to come. I think it will take me at least 3 weeks to list it all and that’s if I hustle. We also sold the bigger furniture items, to make a profit that same day. Not only did we sell some furniture but we gave a lot of it away for free too. We were blessed that this unit had a lot of clothes for our daughters and plenty of nice shoes to last them until next year. If you have a lot of kids, you know the challenges of keeping up with shoes! I was even able to score some nice kitchen items that I actually needed so it was a total win-win!

I hope this video is interesting to you. I will do a follow up with how much money we actually ended up making on this one unit. I will tell you that out of the probably 100 pairs of shoes I sold ONE pair the next day for $65 alone. I have never been big on selling shoes on ebay BUT I have to admit I really like it. There is no measurments to take, mannequins to dress etc. People know if the item you are selling will sell or not and that’s why shoes have fewer returns I believe. So here is the video we shot on the experience, don’t forget to subcribe to see more videos like this!
