Documenting Reading Delight 2/365

There wasn’t a lot of time for read alouds today. I did tuck the 3 youngest down for a nap and read them The Velveteen Rabbit. This is a classic but it was my first time actually reading it. It was very sweet. I love buying old books that have inscriptions in them. This one is pretty cool because it’s the same year my husband and I were born.

Joe also read to the kids before bed a lot of favorites.

I started reading a new book that is quickly become one of my favorites and I must order it for myself. I love being able to try them on first with the library. This book’s origins are from 1919. I will be including this in a writing homeschool dupe video.

The kids also received today their free books from the summer reading program.
